Once upon a time, there were tiny creatures named cicadas that went on a big adventure underground. They stayed there for so many sleeps until they were ready to say hello to the world again in a special year. There were two families of cicadas, one that took 13 years to wake up and another that took 17 years! They decided to come out together in places with lots of trees and grass, making a big party noise. They danced, ate, and sang songs until it was time to say goodbye, leaving behind little baby cicadas to start their own long sleep. And the moral to the story is to enjoy big celebrations and the wonders of nature. 🌳🎶🐜
