Once upon a time, smoke from far away forest fires made the air outside not nice to play in. Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin were told to be careful because of this smoke. It came from big fires in a place called Canada. People were asked to do less running around and spend less time outside. The air got filled with tiny bits that were not good to breathe. Everyone, especially those who find it hard to breathe already, like little kids and grandmas and grandpas, needed to be extra careful. There were special maps showing where the smoke was going. Firefighters tried very hard to stop the fires. It was important to stay inside until the air was clear again. And that’s the moral to the story. 🌬️🔥🏠
