Lots of Water Everywhere in Manawa and Appleton Makes People Leave Homes

Once upon a time in Manawa and Appleton, a huge rain made so much water come everywhere. People had to leave their houses fast because the water got too high and it was scary. There was a big place where the water blocked, called a dam, and it was almost broken! That made everyone worry more. But the people who look after the dam and officials said it’s okay for now, and people could go back home in the evening. Some places were so filled with water, people had to stay in special big houses like schools to be safe. 🌧️🏠💧And then, because there was so much water, a big event in Manawa couldn’t happen, and everyone was a bit sad. There was even a lady who got stuck, but someone with a kayak helped her! That was kind of amazing. After all the water and worry, the place became quiet again, but people are watching the water to make sure it’s all safe. The moral to the story
