Once upon a time, in a place where the sea hugs the land, a storm named Beryl caused a lot of trouble for the people living by the Texas coast and faraway islands. Beryl, who once was big and strong, decided to visit Texas. Beryl danced across the sea and told the trees to sway, roofs to play tag, and the people to find cozy spots inside. Everyone was getting ready, putting boards on windows and filling bags with sand to stop the water from sneaking in. 🌊🏠🌪 The cities near the water told everyone to be safe, and some people went on little trips away from Beryl’s path. Everyone was hoping Beryl would be gentle as it came to say hello. And after Beryl’s visit, we all learned that being prepared and helping each other is the moral to the story.
