Once upon a time, there was a very important task to make the internet a safe place for kids, like when you play with your toys but safely and without any harm. People who make the internet wanted to stop bad things from happening, like bullies or scary advertisements, and make sure kids could have fun and learn without getting hurt. They thought about making new rules for the big, big world of the internet, where everyone, including superheroes from companies, agreed some changes were needed to keep the playground fun and safe. But, not everyone thought these rules were good; some were worried it might stop kids from learning about important stuff. Yet, many helpers, including parents and those who teach, agreed on making these new rules. Now, they are hoping that very soon, they will agree on how to keep the playground safe so every kid can have adventures online without any worries.
