Once upon a time in Paris, some athletes couldn’t swim in the river because the water was icky. They were hoping to swim, bike, and run, but the rain made the water yucky with germs. 🌧️😟 The people in charge tried to make the water clean, and even built a giant bowl to catch extra rain. They hoped the sun would help make the river better for swimming 🌞🏊. A very important person from Paris took a swim to show it was okay, and they had plans to fix it if it stayed gross for the big race. They really hoped to swim in the river for some special races soon. And that’s the moral to the story.
