Once upon a time, a bike racer named Matthew decided to race for a team from far away, leaving his old team behind. Everyone had kept it a secret until after Matthew won shiny medals. But, he wanted to take his special bike and race clothes with him, which made his old team worried about sharing their bike secrets. They thought about not letting him race for two years but found out they couldn’t do that. So, they said Matthew couldn’t be part of their team anymore or win their special awards. Matthew had originally come from a place called Maidstone but had lived with his old team since he was nine. Even though he couldn’t race for his new team right away, he hoped to join them in races next year. And we learn that choosing a new path can sometimes upset friends, but it’s important to follow your heart. 🚴🏅🤝
