Once upon a time, a group of people who make big decisions in a place called Arizona decided to change an old rule from a long, long time ago in 1864 about whether moms can decide not to have babies under certain conditions. They talked a lot and finally decided to say ‘no more’ to the old rule. Some people were really happy, saying this was good for moms and their choices. Others were not happy, thinking about the babies. In the end, they decided to try and make things better for everyone.
