Once upon a time, in a land of fields and rivers named Northwest Iowa, a lot of water came and covered all the streets and towns. ๐๐๏ธ Friends from Sioux City to a place called Okoboji looked from the sky to see where the water was sleeping. A wise leader, Governor Reynolds, told everyone that many homes were hurt and lots of people needed new places to sleep. ๐ก๐ Rivers like the Ocheyedan and Little Sioux whispered loudly, hiding roads and turning off lights in a town named Spencer. But the town’s people were strong; they made safe spots on the east and west. Boats had to tiptoe on Okoboji Lake, and everyone was helping, giving hugs and sharing what they had. ๐ฃโโ๏ธ๐ Other towns saw water dance close but got ready and kept safe. And after the water told its story, everyone started to fix and hug their land once more, learning always to share and be ready for big water adventures.
