Dirty Water Adventure for Swimmers

Once upon a time, swimmers were excited for a big summer adventure at the Olympics near a river, but found out the water was icky because it had too many germs ๐Ÿ˜ฃ. People who checked the water said it was not clean and could make swimmers feel really sick because of tiny bugs called E. coli that come from waste. They were trying hard to make the water clean in time for swimming races and had spent a lot of money on big tanks and pipes underground. They hoped sunny weather would help chase the germs away ๐ŸŒž. There was talk about changing the race if it kept raining, but leaders hoped everything would be ready for swim time. In the end, they wanted to show everyone the water was safe by swimming in it themselves. And that’s the tale of the summer race in the river, reminding us to always make sure the water is safe before diving in.
