Once upon a time, in a place far away, nine friends found themselves in a big, important house because they weren’t nice to another friend. People everywhere were talking, some were even a bit upset because they really cared about how friends should treat each other. This big house was known for having lots of rooms and secrets, and our nine friends were there because they needed to learn about being kind. Outside, a lot of people with big feelings showed up to say ‘we want our friends back!’ and waved little flags to show their feelings. Meanwhile, a very important person in charge said, ‘We need to make sure everyone learns how to be nice, that’s what keeps us all safe and happy.’ The lesson here? Sometimes, even when you think you’re playing, you have to be nice to everyone. And if someone isn’t being nice, it’s important to find out why and help them learn to be better.
