Once upon a time, a big group with lots of places to have fun made everyone scratch their heads and wonder what they were thinking. They first said, ‘No party for a special day because it makes some friends sad.’ But then, oops! They didn’t mean to make it a big deal or make anyone upset. So, they said sorry and told everyone, ‘We love bringing people together, not apart. Celebrate if you want!’ They want everyone to feel welcome and keep enjoying fun times, with about as many people as you’d find in a small city coming to visit every year. Even the people in charge of knowing about fun places said it’s up to each place if they want to party or not. And so, while some think it’s a day for a big yay and some don’t, the big group just wishes for happy times for everyone. Once, a long time ago, some ships arrived and started a big, long story that makes this day important for many reasons. And that’s the tale with a little oops, some sorrys, and a reminder that every day can be a fun day. 🎉🍻🤗 And that, dear friends, is the moral to the story.
